Short story format at a learner-accessible pace. Good for reading comprehension practice that doesn't require a full book commitment.
Short stories as a listening format hit a useful balance — long enough to require sustained attention, short enough that a single session can take you through a complete narrative arc. I found the shorter format easier to review, since if a particular passage was confusing I could replay the whole story without a large time commitment. Good for building both listening endurance and vocabulary in narrative context without the commitment of a full audiobook.
